Optibelt Blue Power are high performance wrapped v-belt and kraftband which has a high-strength aramid cord (Kevlar ®) and is particularly suited for large, heavily loaded drives and are available in SPB, SPC, 5V and 8V profiles. The Aramid cord is extremely low stretch and will require considerably less frequent re-tensioning when compared to Optibelt standard SK v-belts; up to 100% higher power ratings than Optibelt standard SK v-belt, making it possible to reduce the width of the drive; suitable for back bending idlers, anti-static to ISO 1813, suitable for ATEX environments.
